Disappointing, a lesson learned

If you're planning a trip to Long Beach Island at the height of the summer season be aware that it is primary a residential community. A great percentage of the visitors are renting homes for a week or more. We had a window of two nights and booked the stay at the Beach Haven Motel, which lasted only one night....

This was a last minute decision to take the kids with friends down to LBI. We have been to that area before, but this year we did not due a long term rental. We love this place! Location is wonderful....The owners are great and we go off season so the rates are good. Clean and friendly and a relaxed time with everything you need around you we even love our friends the ducks and birds who visit.....
