Help us make it rightAs far as Lebanese food goes, the food is average at best. Many of the dishes are dry and are missing the powerful flavors that Lebanese food is known for. For the average American, who seems to levitate away from strong flavors, s/he might enjoy their cuisine. The service is also mediocre and parking is annoying. The only solid redeemable quality is the price, which is very affordable.
Their Heaven cake is nice way to end the meal.
We had to park 1 block away. We were seated quickly and the food was served pretty quickly. My food was mediocre. The salad was dry, no dressing and my gyro-like pita sandwhich need more cucumber dressing. Daphne's serves a much better gyro with twice as much meat. I would have asked for dressing but my empty glass of ice tea explains why I did not ask...... I never saw the waiter again to ask...
A friend introduced me to this place and was blown away. Some of the best food in town. Right near Chapman University, The Orange Circle. Grab a bite to eat and do a little bit of shopping. I simply love it!
Location is still closed due to the fire...I'm dying for some the garlic sauce! Papa Hassan's please open back up soon!!!
