Sage Room Steak House Restaurant Review

Old dishes don’t fade away---they retire to steakhouse menus. But that’s not always a bad thing as the Sage Room proves. Clams casino---Manila clams baked with bacon and breadcrumbs---celebrate pork’s traditional ability to perk up the shy sweetness of clam meat. Caesar salad for two created tableside offers a garlicky kick (we deplore versions that skimp on garlic). The New Zealand rack of...

19 Kitchen Bar Restaurant Review

On the 19th floor of Harveys Lake Tahoe Casino & Resort, 19 Kitchen Bar delivers solid, often whimsical fare. Lettuce wraps arrive with tiny portions of pot sticker sauce, Chinese mustard and chili oil, so diners can create their own dipping sauces. The scallop, asparagus and spinach risotto is a creamy first course, and lobster corn chowder is rich goodness. The "surf and turf 19" is pricey...

With its two massive towers and 740 rooms, Harveys is the largest (and possibly the ugliest) hotel in Tahoe. It features an 88,000-square-foot casino, eight restaurants, and a cabaret with some of the most glittering, bespangled shows in town. Harveys is like a city unto itself, with a children's day camp, beauty and barbershops, and even a wedding chapel, should you get the urge. Heck, you...

Definitely not a 4 star hotel. The room was little over 100 SQFT. They even charged for internet. Rooms were way too small and very dark. LIterally hated to stay in the room. The TV had very limited choices and couldn't find a single channel for our kids.\n\nRoom size, lighting, cleanness.

Location was goid\n\nThe hotel room Was dirty There was blond hair in the shower all over the wall, I have dark hair. The table was dirty. the nonsmoking room had so much cigarette smoke bloeing in my clothes picked it up. Left a day early, it was so bad.

Location was decent. Animals allowed (though I didn't have any).\n\nRoom was very noisy. Expensive. They charge $25/day for "Resort Fee" which includes Gym, WiFi, Pool, etc (you know... all the things you usually get for free at any hotel), but it DID NOT include access to the beach ($5), or the Ski Lift ($44/person).

Location\n\nIt's a casino that people party quite heavily at. Rooms have much wear and tear, but people don't go to casinos to hang in the room. I mean it's frickin Lake Tahoe

All Staff extremely accommodating and friendly. Casino clean with many different games to play. Bell Service/Room Service quick and polite. Front desk exceptional. I lived and worked in Vegas for many years. Harvey's well done-Thank You.\n\nParking structure a bit far from casino.
