Missed diagnosis 2 times. Never read MRI reports. Thought just looking at the scan himsel wld do. I sufferd for 4 yrs cause I trusted him, needed cane & walker. His explanation that sometimes knees hurt. When I went for a 2nd opinion the doctor pulled up the mri & reports to let me know the bones in my knees had lost blood supply & I have ostonecrosis of the tibia, femur & patella. Same MRI...

Completely unprofessional and uncaring which is not the biggest problem, because as long as your good who cares what your personality is like. But He completely ignored symptoms and treatments that his colleagues recommended. He also degraded colleagues in front of me and other medical professionals.

He is an excellent surgeon with a very good bedside manner , a Sometimes hard to find combinationI , I highly recommend him. We are lucky to have him in the Danbury area.

My mom's heart doctor. Takes time to answer you personally and explain details. When/if I ever need a heart doctor I'll pick Dr Granquist for sure.

To start, i completely ruptured my Achilles 5.5 weeks ago and had it operated on by Dr Benthien 4 weeks ago to the day.

I will also say I found Dr Benthien by a referall from my sister is a doctor at Mass General and inquired in her own orthopedic department.

I knew nothing about him and found that most reviews said his bedside manner was very brusque and that he was frankly a jerk but...
