STAY AWAY!!! Never deal with Margo Montaquila or Adam Diamond and if you do, prepare to be scammed!

You have been forewarned.

I have been living in New York for years and I have met lots of brokers. This agency is by far the worst. They are deceitful, manipulative and disrespectful. Adam Diamond and Margo Montaquila are the worst brokers I have ever met. It's hard enough finding an apartment in New York, do yourselves a favor and go with a trustworthy agency. I wish I had known this before.

Last day in NYC...we ate at MB for brunch... The food was a bit disappointing for the price but the hot chocolate was not. I guess the key is to order...

Good Manhattan brokers are hard to find. The value of a good rental broker is in the inventory they have - the knowledge of where the good properties are, based on your requirements. Adam from Hart Diamond is fantastic. Not only did he show me clean, well located apartments, but he was very professional and always on time.

Very bad service, very unprofessional

Very unprofessional. When I brought up my concerns of not having a lease right away when I gave them my cashier's check, they were very argumentative with me and defensive. They told me they would send me the lease after I move in! I never had to deal with a landlord that would give me the lease so late, after I gave them all the money. They were also very shady about disclosing things that I ask for. I also told them that I was concerned about them cashing the checks and not giving me the keys and they pretty much insulted me because I didnt trust them. I wouldnt recommend them at all.
