We like to cook, smoke and bake our food the same way it was done 40 years ago. That's why every fresh egg is cracked and every brisket spends all night in the smoker. We were raised in the restaurant business, which is why Harris County Smokehouse feels like home. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner to make sure you get your BBQ fix any time of the day, any day of the week.
Less

Our Dad and his family have been in the restaurant business for over 40 years. It all began when our Paw-Paw started a chain of restaurants back in 1968 and had over 200 of those dudes, all the way from Florida to California. Thanks for your interest in coming to eat with us. We hope your dining experience is everything you imagine and more, whether you dined in or took us home. SEE YA'LL AROUND!

If you could do 1/2 stars, I'd have rated 2.5 instead of 3. The bbq itself was decent. Not the worst I've ever had, but nothing special either. I had brisket (good) pulled pork (pretty good) and ham (mediocre) and wife had ribs, but I didn't try them. The sides were terrible. If you're going to do pre breaded / …

I have no complaints about the food, or the location and ambience. My criticism is limited to one area. I have been to this location two times and both times it was around 6:00PM. At that time of day, it would seem they should have some routine they should follow to be sure they are ready for the pending …

1/16/2013 12:17 pm - When I have the craving for barbecue, this place has consistently delivered. I scored it a 78 out of 100. This is Real Texas Barbecue. Smoke: Don't know but they got it. No visible stacks and standard...
