Help us make it rightWith the inspiration of the han people, our chef fused his dishes with ingredients and techniques from the american and asian cultures to create a memorable flavour for our guests.the goal of han 202 is to provide an affordable and memorable experience for all our guests.
"Unusual but delicious" say fans of this Bridgeport BYO, a "hidden gem" known for an "innovative", "well-presented" prix fixe menu of Asian dishes set down by "friendly" staffers in "serene", "conversation-friendly" digs; since tabs are "unbelievably inexpensive", many say it's one of the "best deals in town."
Tasting menus tend to come with sky-high prices, but that's not the case at this BYOB spot in Chicago's Bridgeport neighborhood, just south of Chinatown. For a flat $20 you get five courses, which can progress from a small cup of spicy snow crab soup to Shanghai dumplings, sweet walnut shrimp, and spicy-sweet Chilean sea bass, ending with a small sweet bite, like a chocolate truffle. While...
Luckily for flavor-seeking Bridgeport locals, this upscale Chinese eatery, with Japanese and Thai accents, is a departure from the old-school eats favored by the neighborhood. Lunch offers gems...
This place is easy to pass up if you don't know it's there - I just happened to see it while stuck in Sox traffic and am so glad I did! Went here twice with friends - once for lunch and a few...
Delicious food at reasonable prices. Each course was delicious and fresh. Great find :)
The food is not so authentic Chinese food, but the price is reasonable and the service is really good!
Han 202 has been one of my favorite restaurants for a few years now. Since moving from Oak Park to the South Loop, it will become our regular stop for late work nights every Wednesday. The chef is amazing: creative, innovative, and ever present. The 4 course prix fixe menu is a bargain at $35 and BYOB makes the treat...
A small place in Bridgeport..where Chinatown meets Bridgeport. Food is a Chinese fusion style that is outstanding. Fixed price that seems to creep up but still very reasonable. A BYOB with very helpful staff. I found the portions to be generous and innovative. Get reservations in advance. Neighborhood is getting upscaled by this type of place. Definitely should give it...

There's no corkage fee to BYOB. If you plan to eat seafood, bring a white wine, and red for the lamb chop, duck breast or New York strip steak. But for Chinese dishes like chicken and Mongolian beef, pick up a six-pack of beer, which pairs like magic with this cuisine. If you forget the goods, pick up beer at J.J. Peppers (3101 S. Union Ave) down the street, or grab a bottle of wine at All Star Li
The real kicker here is the $20 five-course tasting menu of soup, salad, appetizer, entree and dessert offered seven nights a week. Get it from 4pm to 10pm Sunday though Thursday and 4pm to 10:30pm on Friday and Saturday.
Go on Saturday for a proper date night, when the neighborhood is quiet and the restaurant is buzzing but subdued enough for a lingering conversation over five mouthwatering courses.
