I'll start by saying that maybe the waiter was probably new or jaded.
We had a late conference and needed dinner at 10:30pm. Most kitchens seem to close at 10pm in DC. Hamilton's was suggested. We had a group of 12, so they first suggested...

Ryan is a very professional barman. Listens well to your requests. Offers recommendations when asked. And is very thorough in checking Id's! Ranges of draught beers is good - Goose was my favourite IPA. Good selection of Charcuterie and Cheeses.

Great pork schnitzel. Service was very good. Had a wonderful booth with privacy door. Went there after the open ceremony for the cherry blossom festival very crowded but every thing was just as should be.
