I enjoyed the Hallmark Museum very much. Learning how the company began and evolved. Younger children probably would get bored quickly.

We visited the Hallmark Visitor Center while in Kansas City. It was very interesting to see the film on the history of Hallmark and all that they do now. We really enjoyed the display of the Christmas Trees. It probably would not be of interest for children, but as adults, we truly enjoyed our visit.

The Hallmark Visitors Center honors the more than 100-year-long history of Hallmark in Kansas City, beginning in 1910, when 18-year-old Joyce C. Hall started the company with a shoebox full of postcards. Take a self-guided tour at your own pace, but plan to spend about an hour or longer. The center is located on one level in the Crown Center Shops.
