This hole-in-the-wall barbecue joint has taken off like a house on fire. Owned by a 17-year fire service veteran, and staffed by Henrico County's finest, Halligan is a tribute to firefighters with a 1973 Seagrave fire truck that serves as a backdrop to the bar, authentic helmets doubling as pendant lights, and walls covered with memorabilia. great neighborhood bar atmosphere

this is a great place to hang out, grab a beer etc. very small, only a handful of tables and a bar area. great theme: firefighters, and the decor is awesome! food is fine, 3-7 every day there are happy hour specials, including 2 hotdogs w/fries for $6, 2 tacos w/fries for $6, 2 burger sliders w/fries for $6, etc....

We thought this would be a good place for lunch. I ordered the brisket and beans and my wife ordered the pulled chicken. We placed our order to be eaten there not knowing everything is to go!
