City dwellers from New York to Hong Kong would easily feel at home in this little temple of gastronomy, exuding urban cool from the stark, maple wood tables and benches to the Zen cocktail list featuring specialties like illumination and soul. The menu hones in on Korean culinary trends, making the most of the interplay between salt, sweet and sour. Standouts include the sashimi salad, kimchi...
Giant pine trunk logs, stone, rich leather and bamboo morph perfectly into the Japanese aesthetic of this former steakhouse, but the quirky charisma of this restaurant is created by owner Asako, a former supermodel, and gregarious chef Kenny Yamada. Yamada hails from Takami---he also boasts Puck and Katsuya pedigrees---and his creations are inventive and artfully presented. Straight up...
When a successful restauranteur and a model come together, what are they to do? Besides make beautiful babies, they should create a restaurant, of course. High End but delicious and worth it

Went to dinner to Hakobe, and hated it. Bad service, over priced food. Would not ever go back, paid about $200 for two people and hated the food. The server did not know what they are doing, or anything about the food.
Its the Spot 2B! If you want to go to a spot and feel you're at a cottage, hidden, safe, quiet and very low key private but with a great atmosphere and amazing people this is the spot to be. Not only is the food AMAZING and the chef's are BOMB (they are way cool, down with the new) the owner (man) is a sweetheart and loves to take care of everyone and make you feel at home. Environment is...
