Josef’s chicken gyro was larger but similar to the chicken gyros served at Taste of the Windy City and much different than the chicken gyros served down at B52 in Menominee Falls. At B52, you get chunked up chicken breast rather than meat cut off the spindle. In short, this little back alley shop is now my fav chicken gyro around. The final cost came to roughly $8.50 including a bottled water.

One of the better gyros

I search out gyro places. One my favorites is Oakland Gyros in Milwaukee but this one was right up there. The meat has to have that right spice, onions can't be too strong, tomatoes must be fresh and the cuke sauce has to be right. They met all the criteria plus you can get an extra large.

They have great gyros, the best in town. However, their staff speak very poor English. We had to send our food back twice because they got our order wrong.
