Love this place! The great, upscale drag on Fridays with Kara Dion is classy and more fun than most can handle!!! They have all week activities and drink specials and they even show the Texans' games! It's a blast and I would highly recommend it! See you there! :)
May sound cliche but this is THE bar "Where everybody knows your name" Guava Lamp is the place where if you're new to town, you can meet genuine people that DO become your FRIENDS. It doesn't hurt that the staff is EXTREMELY sweet and sexy, from the door guy all the way up the ladder to the owner him self. Guava is a place to feel safe loved and at home. There are plush booths and sofas for lounging, though on choice nights a seat may be hard to come by.
Come in Wednesdays and Sundays for high-energy karaoke hosted by Toddicus, OutSmart magazine's male entertainer of the year.
The address is listed on Waugh, but the front door actually faces W. Dallas.
