We buried both my mother in law and father in law here with 45 days of each other. There was very little compassion, no organization, it felt more like a sleazy car deal with how much more could they tack on than anything and before we could get through with the finalities of these funerals they were sales pitching my husband and I funeral plots, at a better rate than what we just paid for our parents.
My husband and I attended a funeral of a dear friend on/1/09 at 3:00 pm. When we arrived back at our car, it had been broken in to as well as a friend of ours. Several items were stolen! These items were not out in the open. They?
Nothing that was supposed to be given at the time of the order was not given until the meeting after the funeral. They did try to right several wrongs that were made like the Obit. It was put in wrong twice even though it was sent to them in a JPEG with exactly the way it was to appear in the paper. They were double or almost double the cost of any other funeral home, but who has time to try and get pricing on a funeral at the time with so much going on? and after you have them there and people are told where and when and it is in the paper what do you do????? It wouldn't have been so...
What a terrible place. Attending a funeral service for an old friend, and while inside our car was broken into by vandals. As was another car half way accross the parking lot. When brought to the attention of the manager Dustin, his coment, ""It happens, and what would you like me to do about it."" ""We can call the police but there's nothing they can do about it."" This kind of attitude is unacceptable in my book. During the funeral there were 6 employees sitting around doing nothing, they could have one of them riding a golf cart in the parking lot making sure everyone's vehicle was...
My husband and I attended a funeral of a dear friend on 5/1/09 at 3:00 pm. When we arrived back at our car, it had been broken in to as well as a friend of ours. Several items were stolen! These items were not out in the open. They were hidden. These things can be replaced. What can't be replaced is the complete and total insincerity of the management staff. Their attitude was that there is nothing they can do. The managers demeanor was they could call the police but that would do no good either. Not to mention the fact, they need to work on their housekeeping. The wood gurney...
