Tucked into a narrow row house complete with stamped-tin ceiling and exposed-brick walls, Grill Art offers salads, stuffed portobellos, pizzas, and interesting sandwiches. Dinner entrees include enchiladas and tortellini stew. Since there's no liquor license, it's BYOB. Brunch is served on Saturday and Sunday. There's a coffee bar right by the door.
The food is absolutely delicious. It's well worth the long wait. The banana cake was out of this world! The atmosphere is cozy and romantic.
My husband and I live in Hampden and have been to Grill Art several times, usually for breakfast/brunch, but occasionally for lunch and we've always found it to be an enjoyable experience with great food and a very sweet and attentive wait staff. The coffee is FABULOUS and is always fresh (not sitting around burning for hours) and I absolutely love several of their menu items, such as the huevos rancheros, which I actually think is alot better than the one served at Golden West. Every pizza I've had has been wonderful - my husband loves the one with goats cheese - and we've never had a...

Very cute American Bistro style, with rotating art covering the walls. Word is you can buy with you like. Unique quesadillas and pizzas, sandwiches with a twist, and pasta "small plates" pepper the regular menu, plus a list of daily specials. Great for a date. BYOB. Highly recommended.
Grill Art Cafe can be found at W 36th St 1011. The following is offered: Restaurants. The entry is present with us since Sep 9, 2010 and was last updated on Nov 14, 2013. In Baltimore there are 459 other Restaurants. An overview can be found here.
For some reason, Grill Art always seems to be as empty as Paris Hiltons stomach. But, the Hampden bistro serves up a rotating menu of premium dishes and dessertslike the grouper with pesto sauce and the heavy hot milk cakethat are worth stopping in to try. For those just looking for a quick bite, grab one of the gourmet sandwiches or black bean burger.
