Cool People

Me and my boyfriend were walking down South Main one weekend and the owner invited us in to the place...On the outside it doesn't all inviting but once you walk in it's really nice for a "sports bar"!! He was telling us about how they going to build a DANCEFLOOR DOWNSTAIRS and their menu was really good... We didn't eat there b/c we had just left from another restaurant but we re definitley planning to go down there again...oh and definitely during football season with our friends!!

Misty is a goddess among men! The best server that ever was or is... Please go check this place out! Truly a hidden gem. ?

We visited here after seeing on yelp. Just FYI items on the menu that are on yelp they do not have anymore. I was a little sad lol but all was still worth the stop! Especially our wonderful server Misty! She made this visit so fun!

Great service. Great beer.

Josh and his team are awesome! The burgers are the best in town and the strawberry cake is to die for! Lunch is always a treat with Jonathan at the bar! He just asks if we want the usual and our food is on the way. Great place!!

We have a new tradition where we find the oldest bar/pub in a town we are visiting. The Green Beetle was that in Memphis. We went on a Friday mid afternoon was welcomed the moment we walked in. Great atmosphere and great burgers. Thanks to Josh and his friendly staff for making us feel welcome. The regulars are a pretty good crowd also.

You've got to love a place that was open in the 1930's - and was rumored to be a speakeasy during Prohibition - that's found its way back to being a hip joint in 2012.

The Green Beetle (it can't be called anything else, as outlined in the building contract, apparently) was originally opened in 1939, kinda putting paid to the speakeasy idea. But whether it was a secret place to drink or...
