In 1976 Between 3rd and 4th on Yamhill the Papas brothers opened the Downtown Deli. Over the years, the 2 brothers expanded the Downtown Deli on 5th Avenue as well as on Metro on Broadway where Columbia Sports Square is housed today. As time went on and we continued to expand, we found ourselves in our existing Greek Cusina location.
Authentic Greek food is just the beginning. Come in early for breakfast. Lunch plates include chicken, beef or veggie gyros. For dinner, enjoy such delectable dishes as the Kalamari Dinner or Lamb Bourekia—plates include rice or orzo, and vegetables with soup or Greek salad. Request a bottle of Greek wine. Happy Hour, from 4pm-7pm Monday-Thursday, includes $2 beer or well drinks and a $3 menu....
