I have been a loyal customer at the Spa of Great Lakes for the last seven years, so have my mom and dad. I tried calling a couple days ago to book an appointment to use up a $90 gift certificate that didn't expire until Feb. 2010. The message said the number had been disconnected. I didn't learn that they had gone out of business until I looked them up online yesterday. I was shocked and angry...

I just tried calling to make an appointment for my mother who has been in hospital for several weeks recently, hoping to use a gift certificate before it expired and the Christmas rush for appointments started. I can't believe they did this. I had been going there for years. Made a last minute appointment (Friday) only to sow up on Wednesday and find they had gone out of business. No call, no warning. I have unused gift certificates and I'm really pissed. I looked in the door and see there is still merchandise on the shelves -- they could redeem my certificate for some of this! What a waste --...
