The center, which dates back to 1969, offers numerous support services for individuals and families in need. It operates a 24-hour intervention hotline and also provides a walk-in counseling service open to the public, with no appointment necessary. Grassroots works with families facing alcohol and drug abuse, and has a mobile crisis team that works with local police.
