We are a small neighborhood dive bar with a cool, cozy, comfortable, crazy atmosphere. Every glass, chair, and couch in th ebar is different, nothing matches! Outside ther is a rooftop deck with a view of downtown Dallas, perfect for sipping one of our signature frozen drinks, a Bellini, Tangarita or Pom Pom. We also have a huge patio with lots of trees, a basketball court, ping pong on...

This is one nightclub unlike any other. If you like dancing in your living room, you will love the ambiance at the Grapevine. Furnished with comfy chairs, couches, and a jukebox, this hot spot is nothing if not homey. You can also shoot pool on one of the indoor or outdoor pool tables while enjoying one of the bar's special frozen Everclear bellinis. The rooftop patio is the perfect place to...

At the front bar, my friend forgot to tip for our two beers because we were talking and she was distracted. As we thanked the bartenders for the beers, the large older gentleman with long salt/pepper hair said, "Gee, thanks for nothing. Thanks a lot! We should have just let yall go to the patio!" He muttered …

Comfortable and friendly bar offers pool tables and a roof-top patio. Neighborhood restaurants will deliver food.

The Grapevine Bar is possibly my favorite place in Dallas to relax and have a drink. You can choose to sit inside in a cozy atmosphere, lounge under the trees outside and chat with friends while others shoot some hoops, or, for a less-crowded experience, head to the rooftop deck and enjoy the breeze. There are few things better than winding down from a hard day of work with one of the...

The eclectic crowd that frequents this light-hearted watering hole is composed of folks from all walks of life. Highland Park socialites rub elbows with local drag queens, and if you're not a twenty-something, you won't feel like a parent busting your teenager's party. The Grapevine Bar's patrons are attracted by theme nights (drag shows tend to draw the most boisterous crowds), a rooftop...

Grapevine is for those in search of adventure. The drinks are stiff, and the crowd is always strange, and we mean that in a good way. People watch on the patio, shoot pool, or play some tunes on the jukebox. Shoot some hoop every day but Sunday when the basketball court turns into a ping pong hang out. The bar opens at noon on Sundays during football season.

The eclectic crowd that frequents this light-hearted watering hole is composed of folks from all walks of life. They're attracted by theme nights (drag shows tend to draw the most boisterous crowds), a rooftop patio, a backyard hoops court, and billiards. When you factor in cozy furniture and a laid-back vibe, it's easy to see why so many people consider Grapevine Bar to be Oak Lawn's rec room....

Tips about this business (1)

Save Money

In April and July, get $1 beer and eat free food. Regular specials aren't bad: all day Sunday-Tuesday, all drinks are $2. Add 50 cents for martinis and shots. You'll find the same specials every other day until 7pm.
