While visiting Oshkosh, we decided to see the play Blythe Spirit at the Grand Opera House. We enjoyed the play very much and also loved to see the very well preserved building. The community has done a great job of saving and treasuring the building. And those involved also love to tell the Opera House's story.....
Lots of great shows every year in this beautifully restored theater! They schedule a variety of entertainment, with something that will appeal to varying tastes. When you are there, it is easy to picture this theater back in the days when it hosted vaudeville acts! A very intimate theater!

It was an amazing concert. Very talented musicians and the guest conductor was great! Love the atmosphere of the Grand.
This unique Victorian era opera house is a visual and acoustical sensation! It has a charmingly quaint and intimate atmosphere. It only seats around 600-700 so it can't attract big shows, but the small shows it does bring in are wonderful. They have totally remodeled the upstairs to include a beautiful lounge with a full bar. The only down side...
