I visit the goodwill store in Torrington Ct. weekly. Today I purchased an entertainment center. It was to big to fit in my truck, so the clerk tagged it as sold,since I had already paid for it.I had to call my son to come with his truckto help me. when I returned to the store about 2 hours later I found that they sold it to someone else.Is this any way to do business.I had to give my son money...

One of the better Goodwills YP.com

A woman in the Waterbury Goodwill told me to head out to Torrington. She was right -- they do have a better selection of stuff and are a little less crowded, thought they're a bit smaller. All the CT Goodwills have started marking all of the better clothes as "boutique" items, and sometimes they retail for about as much as they would for the same item on sale at a regular store or at TJ Maxx...

Great location, clean store YP.com

Most items in this store are of decent quality, but new shipments get picked over very fast so you have to stop by often! Clothing is arranged by color instead of size, which is REALLY frustrating. Staff is usually friendly and they have always been very kind to my kids, who are more often than not getting into things. Plenty of parking, open a lot of hours, difficult to get in/out of traffic...
