It's best to make a reservation, as we did, and we ended up actually sitting next to our gondolier at the Dock Cafe for a pre-sail cocktail (he wasn't drinking, but eating a late dinner). John has sure bought a special feeling to the town and the river through his Gondola Romantica. At sunset there are more people watching John and his gondola then the sun going down. Good job John.

It was okay, and the gondolier was very nice and funny. But the trip takes you up over to the Stillwater lift bridge and back- the lift bridge traffic is NOISY- we were there during the week, and it was still very loud. It is not a tranquil ride.
