No space...very, very small locker room...oversold memberships, crowded...no consideration taken into account of member's concerns when building the gym. Workout space is ridiculous ..members have no room to use equipment. They let me out of

Dear Gold’s Gym, As mention in the enclosed e-mail I am allowed to terminate my membership because the new facility in my area falls short of my expectations. I regret that the new facility in Appleton Wisconsin has a very very small locker room for the amount of members- amongst other issues. Riping off members stopping subscriptions

My son recently stopped his member ship at the local Appleton WI Gold's Gym a few months ago. The girl who waited on him at the register failed to check the computer at the time to see that he still owed $15.00. $15.00 that he could have payed at that time from his pocket.Because of that employee's mistake Gold's Gym holds HIM responsible for HER lack of attention and he now owes $70.00!!!!!!...

Lots of Equipment

Gold's Gym has a lot of fitness equipment inside. They have several of each type, and several different types so that you can work out every part of your body. The building is laid out well so that you aren't crowed and that you can have space between you and the next person. They do have personal trainers there that can work with you to help develope a plan and stick to it. They will also help...

Absolutely terrible. I joined the gym in January and cancelled in March due to moving to a different city. It is now June and I am still being billed for it. I called them up and they claim to have never received my cancellation letter therefore they can not cancel my account. The employees there say they can't cancel it. Customer service says they can't. Finally, Appleton has a world class facility that it can be proud of. I have worked out at other Gold's Gyms in the state (Fitchburg, Eau Clair) and finally Appleton has one that is comparable. It's been long over due.
