Years ago this was Golden Gate chinese restaurant. It was very good, one of the better places to eat chinese food, and then slowly declined to awful. Then it was bought and the name changed to Golden Garden. The food is still awful. Three of us actually took a few bites of our food sat for a few minutes asked for the check and left, of course leaving that terrible food behind.

Was here for lunch yesterday. It is now the Golden Garden and entirely different. Sorry to say the won ton soup was awful. Super heavy won tons with an awful hard filling. Not sure what the filling was but not good. Broth seemed artificial. The luncheon prices where two dollars more than Tang Dynasty which has delicious food and way more generous servings. Won't come back here again.

This is our favorite Chinese/Thai restaurant! I am very selective, but I feel that the food is excellent. The service is very good, and they are attentive. We have only had positive experiences when we dined at the, Golden Gate Restaurant.
