On this visit. I was at drink machine,had an employee step in front me to get drinks,twice. She never said excuse me. (Maybe she was going on break) some of the silverware I picked up was not clean. A lot of the food trays was empty. The Meat (Salisbury steak)was cold. I have visited many Golden Corals this ,but this was my first visit to this one.
We have eaten there several times and have been very impressed with the quality of the food and the cleanliness of the place. This time the food was definitely not up to par, the staff was very unfriendly and the final straw was the bathroom soap dispensers had no soap. Most food pans were empty and what food that was out was cold. Popcorn shrimp was cold and hard. Had to get my own water did not see waitress for first 20 minutes or more. I said something to manager of food area and she said she was sorry but there had been a big rush. That is no excuse. I am a food server also and would never let this happen. There was 16 empty pans in first half of the line...
We had a great experience! The pans were full and the manager came by to check on the table.
Food was hot, tasty and plentiful. As always, our server Chin took great care of us and made our meal enjoyable.
