One member returned his meal because it tasted “off” (which was validated by someone else in our party). I had a Cobb Salad because I’m trying to eat gluten free and it had croutons in it (a minor point for me, but maybe not for someone else). Clam Chowder was excellent. Wine list was so-so. I’d might give Golden Anchor another chance somewhere down the line.

The view of the lake is awesome! Service was outstanding! Fresh baked warm bread was a nice touch! Price and portions were very reasonable! Comfortable dinning atmosphere, very friendly wait staff! Our server was awesome! The hostess seemed more interested in the seating chart on the iPad than the guests standing in front of her. Fish fry was ok, a little on the soggy side - we would have preferred a crisper coating. The tartar sauce was some of the best I've tasted.

Our family dined early on a Friday night. The consensus was that some food was very good & some was okay. Clam chowder was excellent. French onion soup was really salty. Friday night Reservations a Plus

Nice to have neighborhood restaurant that takes reservations on a Friday night. Perch was lightly breaded & moist. Nice, unique touch with jar of pickles on each table. Friendly wait staff and food came out in perfect timing after drinks.
