Rooms are clean and have all the necessary amenities including a fridge. Location is walking distance to downtown Angles Camp as well as the local restaurants and grocery stores. Management and staff are very friendly and outgoing. Highly recommended.

This is not a top-of-the-line motel, but who would expect one in this colorful part of the Gold Rush area. The room was spacious, comfortable and the owner was extremely friendly and accommodating. It was a pleasure to stay here. The owner alo steered us to the best restaurant in Angels Camp.

I attended a wedding on Sunday, October 26th in Murphys and tried to book a room closeby back in August but everything was full! I decided to check out Angels Camp closeby and found Gold Country Inn. It looked very clean and the price was great! Check-in was quick and the manager was very friendly. We had a downstairs room...

The room was very large, decent beds, fridge, microwave, coffee pot...for the price it was very adequate. Not the kind of place you want to hang out in, but a great centrally located spot to visit gold country.
