I don't have a problem with Godby. I purchased furniture from their Avon/Plainfield (whichever one it is) store, and I had a nice visit to the Carmel store to look at various items. They have a decent selection, and the staff was helpful without being pushy. The store is much bigger than it appears from the outside. Their selection of mattresses is smaller than Macy's or Kittles.

If you expect above and beyond service stay away. Stitching came loose on my sofa so I called them 6 days past warranty. According to the manager the choice was lie to the manufacture and let them pay for it or not do the repair. I mentioned they could just do it and retain a customer they declined. So they lost a customer.
