This is a beautiful 1883 Victorian. The house is mostly restored to period. For a small admission, you get a tour throughout the house. The upstairs was recently refurbished with period paint colors and wallpapers. If you like Victorian architecture and some local history, it's definitely worth a visit!

The Glenn House is beautiful and well-preserved, with authentically decorated rooms giving you a delightful glimpse into the past. I was also very impressed with how friendly and knowledgable the staff was. It was one of the highlights of my visit to Cape Girardeau.

To treat the family or just if you are a history buff the Glen House is a fun educational place to visit. Bringing back the realities of past times and teaching us to value modern technologies. We took our children on a tour last year just like when we were taken there when we were kids. The kids were so in awe of everything it was amazing. It could be a family tradition as it has become for us...
