It's NIGHTMARE. I had a bitter experience about "Glassique". I order Glassique a stained glass window more than 5 months ago with full payment, but the work has not done yet. It should be finished in 6-8 weeks on contract, but he has not even started assembling the window in fact. I reminded him more than 10 times by visiting, emails & calls, but no reply. Finally I requested him to refund $2,070 by certified mail, but no reply. I have no idea what I can do. I wish nobody else has such a nightmare like mine. (Edited August 06, 2011)
I'm sorry to say the guys a crook. Don't trust him with your money and for anything else for that matter. He doesn't pay his bills or the people that he "hires". Has an excuse for every day of the week why he can't pay. We have been dealing with Mr. Richard Heath, of Glassique Art Glass, for 56 weeks, very largely unsuccessfully, to complete an order we have already paid for.
We commissioned Richard Heath, which, we find out, is NOT his legal name, in early October of 2012, to build a glass panel for our new front door. The panel was to be triple pane sealed and installed in a special order door, ready for us to install. After months and months of excuses and lies and more excuses and lies, we finally went to his shop (for the 5th time) and picked up the glass panel. It was not triple pane sealed,...
I completely agree with warnings previous people provided here. He also owes me money and, even after admitting it on paper, I still haven't seen a cent after over a year. I don't even care that much about the money. I care that he is still actually in business screwing so many people.
He's very unorganized, has anger issues, and is not to be trusted. At first, he seemed to be a very fun-loving guy, but the more I got to know him, the more I got afraid of him & saw how he was screwing people over left and right - including his employees. Richard Heath is not to be trusted with money. He is an adequate teacher in that he has great assistants who teach for him, but don't order anything from him--you will lose your money and get excuses in return.
I'm sorry to say this guy Rich - is a crook. I taught some classes for him and he never paid me - but did have NUMEROUS excuses every week why he could not ---- but would next week. This went on for over 3 months. I know - I'm a bit slow sometimes but I just want to believe there is good in everybody. There might be some good in Rich - but not around money. He is a cheat and a liar and in my book that makes him not a good person. Take your business and especially money - elsewhere!
