Incrediable pasta & seafood & cute wait staff

My boyfriend and I went there on a friday night. Not only was our order not taken for about 30minutes, we then had to wait on dinner for another 45 min. The calamari was decent, nothing life changing. But it was the pasta that was HORRIBLE, the sauce had no flavor at all. If I wanted to have pasta with no taste or flavor I would have stayed home and cooked it for myself. The best part of this restaurant was the amazing bus boys, who were on top of everything. Hopefully this was just an off night for this restaurant.

My husband and I have been eating here since it opened 15 years ago. We have watched it grow into one of the best Italian restaurants in town, reservations are a must for weekends and holidays, their Veal Marsala is absolutely delicioius. Kudos to the owners......

This is one of the best kept secrets in Silver Lake. I've eaten at Da Giannino almost every month for about 5 years. There's an intimacy about this place even when it's full - which is most of the time. Sure sometimes it's crowded and you need to wait, but over all it's worth it. As for rude waiters, never had one, as for rude demanding patrons..seen a few.
