There are two locations: the original in Boston's historic North End and the newer in trendy South End. Both spots may have lines out the door on any given night, but it is always worth the wait. Don't forget to finish off the evening with a scrumptious tiramisu.
The service at Giacomo's is speedy and the food is moderately priced - that's two reasons why people throng to this place throughout the week. Also, the Italian food will have you drooling - the pastas are fresh and cooked to perfection. You can start your meal with a caprese salad and move on to the chicken parmigiana, shrimp scampi, grilled tuna or swordfish steak. This place is always...

We had one day in Boston after a week in Cape Cod. I wanted to continue with my seafood pig out but add some Italian to it. I was trying to narrow the Italian places down to $$ since my vacation was coming to an end so was my budget. We settled on Giacomo due to menu selections. The prices...
We waited patiently for over an hour to eat as they do not take reservations. It was quite overcrowded once we got in there. Small, hot, and noisy, cash only... but if you have ever been to Italy, it is just like being there. The motto I think is to get in, eat, and get out, which works for us......
