Best apple fritters in the city! Actually, best apple fritters I've ever had. Cakes, doughnuts, breads, cookies and pastries are all delicious and the prices are amazing.

I've heard about German Bakery, but it took me awhile to find it. It is tucked away near North DeKalb Mall, across the street from Saravaan Bhavan. This morning, I had their plum cake and an apple fritter. The apple fritter was very good, but the plum cake was my favorite. It was tasty but not overly sweet. Still getting things figured out.. I know they just recently reopened and started doing sandwiches, so I'm not too surprised that they're still figuring things out. As of now, sandwiches are already prepared in a cold case and are pretty limited.
