I really really wanted to like this store. I was getting points there on my Safeway card. It's also very close to my barber so I like getting foods there. However, the store is so dark, for a big store, its laid out really badly.I'm excited to see what Giant does with it!

I live right next door so this Genuardi's is extremely convenient.It's usually well stocked and only around bad weather do I have problems finding stuff. The produce is usually pretty good and the prices seem low.Am I going to find specialty meats, imported cheeses or every organic item here? No. But I will be able to pop in and buy everything I need day to day without a lot of hassle.

I must disagree with the Yelp community's 2.5 star rating of Genuardi (aka Safeway). Yes, the layout of the store is on the awkward/unconventional side (after you check out, you must re-enter the store in order to exit through the side doors), but it is not a good reason to judge them so harshly. Convenient and your prescription is always ready on time

As soon as you walk in the door the pharmacy is on your left. I have dropped off refills and gone to shop for a few items. When I return my refill is always ready. I have never had to wait in line for a drop off or pick up.

The Kitchen is a small in-store market, providing shoppers with a place to eat after an afternoon of grocery shopping. With both pre-made food and made-to-order food available, "The Kitchen" is family-friendly and convenient.
