Help us make it rightThe gaztro-wagon started out of a simple idea to bring street food to Chicago. Just like LA, New York, Seattle, Austin, and other cities around the country, we want to revolutionize the mobile dining scene with fresh, seasonal driven fare.
While Matt Maroni's Gaztro-Wagon food truck prepares to go mobile later this month, you can queue up now for one of his flatbread sandwiches at his new brick-and-mortar shop in Andersonville. This 13-seat storefront will tease the public with what the roving truck will eventually be serving: Naan-wiches like braised shortrib with herbed salad on flatbread or chicken confit with Cabrales cheese....
One of the first food truck. The naan in my naanwich was a bit soggy, but good. The guys who work the truck are friendly.
Excellent nan wiches. I always get a little happier when this truck is around, then sadder as I realize they are out of most of the nan wiches I'd like. Get in line early.
The best sandwich stop in the city, even if the decor is nil. Don't miss the soups.
Best food truck in Chicago; everything you could possibly ever want on a n'aan
The best Naan-wiches around! And perhaps the only ones, which make them all the better!
