Dr. Pavia always takes time to answer my questions. He takes extre time to make sure I am comftorable and that I understand what my treatment options are. He and his staff are friendly and personable. They have always made sure that I get an appointment as soon as possible. I have confidence in all of Dr. Pavia's staff.
Doctor seems competent, but I'm not sure he is up to date with newest practices and treatments -- there may be a bit of an age and/or language issue. His primary secretary appears disheveled and always seems way too busy with other things while I wait for her to set up the next step in my treatment, future appointment, etc.; it feels like she's paying too much attention to something else...
Good Doctor! Very personable & Very caring....The Staff are all very friendly....The only draw back is the long wait to be seen. Dr. Pavia needs more help, ie a Physicians Assistant. This would speed up the waiting time.. Other that this, Dr. Pavia is a keeper!!
I know because I have seen 5 other Physicians while liveing in NM for 4 yrs.
