The Gathering closed two years ago, the building has been down for a year! They were a spin off of the Peppermill in Westport, now also gone. But the Peppermill just revived in Stratford at the Ramada Inn .if you liked the Gathering you'll like the Peppermill.

The gathering is quite a boring place to dine at. The atmosphere is pretty dull. Their menu seems like I've seen it a billon of times before. The prices are a little high for the quality of food that they are giving out. I don't recommned going here.

It is a nice place to eat! Plenty of food for the price averaging $15.00 per plate. We have been there plenty of times, and enjoyed ourselves tremendously! The food is scrumptous!

The Gathering is a restaurant that serves American dishes with an emphasis on ribs, seafood and steaks. Expect the average entre to cost $12 to $20, and you`ll be fine if dressed casual. DJ on the weekends, and dinner revervations are recommended.
