Here's my input: 1. The company does not reply to repeated request for information 2. My friend says she paid big bucks for paltry background information... so I would be very wary of this service. 3. Intelius staff gave me 3 erroneous instructions which each resulted in a $50 charge to my Visa which they did reverse. 4. I refused the freebies they offered out of fear of another mistake. Terrible company to do business with. Mislead in their search and returned wrong information. Asked for a refund of the $9.95 and they refuse. Play the game of transferring you around and wasting your time. After not issuing a refund, they state is there anything else I can help you with? What a joke and ripoff. They should be investigated by the attorney general.

This company may well put unauthorized charges on your account. I went online and agreed to pay a one-time fee. The next billing cycle I had been charged for memberships with Intelius related companies amounting to almost $70 per month. I couldn't cancel online because I had no membership numbers and had an extremely difficult time getting them by phone. I am still fighting to get these charges...
