Was very popular with the locals for take out service.
Decent size pasta portions, very tasty fresh pasta. They also were one of the few places to offer gluten free food in an evening in this locality.
Meal was reasonably priced as was the wine. Not too much ambiance inside the HB location. I'm thinking the other location would be nice to try.
This was out second trip to Hermosa Beach. We enjoyed this place from our first visit so we had to return. Arrived for an early dinner and glad we did. It was packed by six. Service was quick and food was great.
Many restaurants are in the Pier Drive and entrance to the Strands area. Visitors to Hermosa Beach can find it hard to decide which one to go in. With homemade pasta, sauces, dressings and desserts, Fritto Misto does it all from scratch. Popular dishes include the artichoke stuffed gnocchi with shrimp, or the pasta New Orleans with chicken, shrimp and bell peppers in a Cajun cream sauce. There's a fresh fish to choose from daily and you can BYOB ($2 cork charge per person). There's also a kid's menu and early weekend hours for breakfast....
The restaurant doesn't accept reservations. On weekend evenings, be prepared to wait up to 45 minutes for a table.
All-you-can-eat calamari and salad is offered every weekend, and Italian-inspired omelettes are served on Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
