If you love modern design, it's almost heavenly at Frisson. Innovative cuisine is a well kept secret in the Financial District. Try the p.b. foie gras -- it's original and will have you begging for more... but now it's closed. Remor has it that it's not opening.

Very cool space with hip vibes. Food and service are secondary to the scene.

Food is great. Decor and crowd are very trendy (not a bad thing). A great place to get good food, and be seen with the "beautiful people," of whose number I consider myself ;)

I can't decide if I like the restaurant or the lounge more. Either way, when people talk about how San Francisco is on the cutting age of food and music, they are talking about places like Frisson.
