We have gone often to the "sister" restaurant Toscana in Wilkes-Barre, but this doesn't come close. The service was mediocre--not the professionals as at Toscana, "nice" but unknowledgeable. The veal was tender but the marsala sauce bland--it was just a brown gravy with no taste of marsala. The chicken in the vodka penne pasta dish was hard, dry and flavorless....

My wife and I have always enjoyed this restaurant. Usually, it's very quiet. I tell people about it, but it has never been crowded when we go. This restaurant has enjoyed great popularity in the past but was very quiet when we visited on a Thursday evening.
