I have been going to FreeWheel for about 3 years. Best bike shop and bike rental place in the twin cities. Without a doubt. The staff really knows their bikes and are not there to sell you. I have a Gary Fisher bike that I love and wanted front shocks. Every other bike shop in town tried to just talk...

Voted as Best Bike Shop by City Pages in 2010. Theyll gladly show a newbie how to patch a flat tire as easily as theyll help a racer on the pro circuit find the perfect cycling position.

My all-time favorite bike shop. Quick repairs, non-pushy sales people, friendly, smart staff. They give you options--and don't try to steer you toward the most expensive choice. They love to ride and help spread the love. Go Freewheel!

the best bike shop in town--

Offering bikes, gear, classes, repairs, special rides and more, Freewheel is a must-stop shop for cyclists.

In Short There's nothing worse for novice cyclists than walking into a bike shop overcrowded with confusing biking gear and tons of attitude from a buff biker staff who'd rather be riding than working the cash registers. But Freewheel i an exception in the bike world, offering a helpful and friendly staff, great service, classes for newcomers and experts, lots of cool gear to outfit your sweet new ride and an easy-going vibe that never feels snooty or alienating. Novice and expert riders will feel welcome at this West Bank shop that's all about biking advocacy and enthusiasm.
