I took my poor neglected vacuum cleaner there some months ago, and Fred saved it! And he saved me a lot of money too. It was running like new when I left. I felt as if he really cared about my machine.
So today when I needed a new plug on my iron, I called Fred's. They repaired the cord and reinforced it so I would not have the same problem in the future. And they had it done in the time it took me to get a cup of coffee and return.
Besides repair, Fred's also carries a complete line of janitorial supplies, several refurbished vacuums for sale, and carpet cleaning machines for rent. Oh, and they make keys (that actually work!).
You won't find a fancy showroom. In fact, it sort of resembles a stuffed attic full of everything one in the vacuum repair business might need. You will find, however, a couple of regular guys who do good work for a fair and honest price.
