It was a great night.

I had been there for lunch several years ago, and it was good, and that's why I wanted to return for dinner. It was part of a holiday present for my news junkie boyfriend. I thought the food was mediocre at best. (He had the calamari salad, and I had the cod.) The pears in the pear crisp dessert were either not cooked or not ripe. Disappointing, and particularly so, because it was a special gift.

It's always a fun experience to dine at Fourth Estate. Ambiance is great...service is outstanding, and the food is superb.
