The library is quite small and lacking compared to all the modern Presidential libraries. Only took 15-20 minutes to see the whole library. I was a bit disappointed, but glad I was able to get it checked off my Presidential libraries list.
If you have a few minutes to spare and appreciate American history, stop on by. The library has limited hours, but any of the librarians ate happy to open it up and allow you to explore.

The environment is charming and the remarkable books are easy to find, There are group meetings and though some of the groups use older books, the library tracks them down and provides them for visitors.
About the Forbes Library The Forbes Library opened in 1894, as a result of a bequest by Judge Charles E. Forbes, who wished to build a public library for the citizens of Northampton.
