Food Max, Food for Less, Foods Co. They pretty much are formatted the same with the same concepts and M.O.'s. However, Food Max gets Four stars for being open 24 hours and close to my newly residing residence. And for having a couple of my favorite wines at prices I can afford. (Because they can be five to ten dollars more at Vons, Spencer's, or Albertsons)

They have wonderful prices for the budget shopper, and a good selection. The layout is a bit awkward, doesn't make sense in comparison to other stores. They need organic fruits and veggies.

I love this store. The employees are so nice and welcoming. They treat you like family/friends. One of the guys stocking produce surprised me by offering me a slice of a fresh nectarine. The produce guys even made the effort to choose "better" fruit for me. I also needed a certain item and when I asked, they …

Store is always kept clean, the prices are great, and they have a huge selection of what you're looking for. I'd be a bit more careful when it comes to parking here. Always try to park as far away from the common area as possible to avoid finding a cart rammed into your car.

Great prices, good variety. Maybe I'm just used to other stores, I just wish the layout made a little more sense. Also, since the prices are so cheap the store attracts a (sorry to say) lower class of people. They post the prices of competitors along side their prices.
