Flying Fish Restaurant Review

Lake Union’s Flying Fish offers a menu of small plates, large plates and platters perfect for sharing that show off the fresh fish for which Seattle is known. Choose from carrot ginger soup, wild king salmon cakes and scallops in green curry sauce. Platters include mussels with chili lime dipping sauce, fried rockfish with pineapple anchovy sauce and grilled fish tacos. Not keen on fish?...

The menu changes daily, so you can be sure that the latest seasonal ingredients...

Flying Fish is one of those “Quintessentially Seattle” restaurants serving up, like, only seafood. Think fresh Alaskan halibut, Willapa Bay king salmon, mahi mahi and whole fried Rockfish.

From the raw oysters, ahi poke, calamari to the salt and pepper crab, the food was excellent. Service was on point too

Although I have loved Flying Fish for many years, taking many people there because of reliably excellent affordable seafood, my experience recently was a big disappointment. First, service was incredibly slow. The waiter mentioned a "large party" as though that was an excuse to underserve my table. Then we were shorted on our 'dozen' oysters, and were questioned when we pointed it out. The...

Warned waiter to not over cook halibut dinners. But fish was delivered well done and dry. Sent back for redo. Second serving was wonderful. Waiter handled situation perfectly.

As we move into our 15th year we still delight in the fact that every night at Flying Fish we have something new and exciting for our guests to discover. Opened in 1997, this fashionable and modern restaurant is located in Belltown. The décor here at Flying Fish is sleek and industrial, and the atmosphere is lively, even a little noisy. Chef and owner Christine Keff focuses on fresh seafood with an Asian twist. To start, try the crab cakes with orange-jicama salad. The salt and pepper Dungeness crab, seared Ahi and lobster with hoisin sauce are...
