We are a casual family dining establishment. We do not offer alcohol, but every meal receives a complimentary scoop of ice cream to top off your visit. We hand cut all of our steaks fresh daily and use only the freshest ingredients available. We recommend reservations for parties of 8 or more, and offer private rooms for meetings and special events. We also offer an extensive catering menu.
Great local eatery. Lunch special of 1/2 chicken with sides and beverage was very reasonably priced. Service was attentive and southern friendly from a hustling staff. Lunch served within minutes. An obvious local favorite for good reason.
This Cajun fully endorsed the Cajun Chicken sandwich! Good flavor, good sized portion. Husband thoroughly enjoyed his pulled pork sandwich with the accompanying baked beans. I almost expected him to lick the bowl his beans came in.
In town for business and stopped in for dinner.
Absolutely terrible experience. I would not recommend this place even to my ex wife.
Mashed potatoes were scooped with a ice cream scoop and looked and tasted like paste. Server said she would bring “twice backed...to replace and that took about 30 seconds and there was no skin, it was another scoop of garbage. Inedible. Steak was not cooked...
In town on business. Host was friendly and then after that things went down hill. Waitress was abrupt and not friendly. My friend ordered the Prime Rib and got a over cooked grilled steak. Waitress didn't even offer us a dessert option just dropped check...on table. Waitress took a very long time to return with change after we cashed out.
Wife and I were in Douglas for one night and needed a spot for dinner. The Flyin' Cowboy was close and seemed modern, so we stopped in.
Food was pretty good, especially the brisket.
Service (Lee Ann) was pleasant, although a little slow.
Note: No...alcohol, which surprised us a little.
Also note that, while we came in masked, we noted that the wearing of a mask was beyond the desire of most of...
