With motel rooms and condo-style suites, a good American-cuisine restaurant, and a store just a short drive from the water, this is a practical base for activities. Most important to visitors, it also rents out boats and provides guided fishing services. Each one-bedroom condo has air-conditioning, a queen bed, twin bed, queen sofa bed, living room, dining room, and full kitchen.
We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and were grateful to get the last motel room available. Quiet and comfortable we managed to sit outside and enjoy the wonderful views. Staff good and meal in restaurant good with good service.
At $126.00/night, one would expect a higher standard of cleanliness and comfort. The bathroom was encrusted with mold, there were many irritating flies in the room, there was no hair dryer, the lighting was extremely dim, and the bedding was very worn.
The condos are clean and comfortable with full kitchen, cable, and wifi. The restaurant is very good. The guides and guide service are without compare. The staff is friendly and helpful from top to bottom. It's a great value, too!
This is not the Ritz and you won't find one anywhere in this area. But, it's clean and comfortable and the staff is wonderful. Went with a group of 16 and one person asked for a blow dryer in her room. When we came back from our fishing trip every room had a blow dryer in it. We ate breakfast...
We rented 2 IK's and they worked great! The staff made in happen easy, good gear, shuttle service, reasonable price We never stayed or ate at the resort , but it looked nice from the outside. When your in Dutch John and need to rent river gear check them out!
